FAYETTEVILLE, NC- Noelyne Ltd. owner Noelyne Langston worked as a makeup artist during New York Fashion Week September 3-11.

Langston attended a two-day Advanced Runway Makeup Course, and was invited to participate as a cosmetic artist, behind-the-scenes, during New York Fashion Week for Spring and Summer 2015. The Advanced Runway Makeup Course introduced artists to fashion show logistics and how to create high-fashion makeup looks. Langston worked runway shows at several theaters including the Helen Mills Theater and Lincoln Center. Langston styled models for high-fashion designers such as Russell Simmons, Marlon Gobel, and the Concept Korea collaboration.

The Aveda® makeup artists were supplied vision boards with images of the designer’s intended style. With the assistance of the Aveda® Advanced Academy, Langston created runway-ready styles from these boards. During her time at New York Fashion Week, Langston said, “I met many great models, worked with several high-profile makeup professionals, and I refined techniques for runway-ready makeup.” Langston styled female, male, and child models. “I enjoyed it so much, I’m already making plans to attend Fall Fashion Week in the Spring of 2015. The experience is educationally elevating,” she said.

Langston has served as an advanced regional educator and in-salon coach for Aveda®, and has received extensive training in hair color, styling, makeup, and skincare. Her makeup experiences include fashion, bridal, theater, film, and editorial work, and her career in the cosmetics industry spans over 35 years.
